Blackrock Leprechaun Chase

This year’s St Patrick’s Day Festival and Leprechaun Chase was a resounding success, helped in no small measure by the wonderfully sunny day!  The events in Blackrock Park were extended this year to include games for both neurotypical and neurodiverse children. In addition, the wonderful Mr Podzo once again brought his very energetic entertainment skills to the party and both he and the games got the vast hordes of children there suitably in the mood for the Leprechaun Chases to come.

The event each year is organised by the Blackrock Business Association, in collaboration with the Blackrock Athletic Club. A huge thank you to everybody who gave of their time and expertise over the past several months.  And a special thank you to the Leprechauns who put their bodies on the line once again this year!  And let’s not forget Blackrock Tidy Towns who did the hard graft afterward to clean up the Park and Main Street.
